Captain’s report

The Former Captains match was held on Sunday 17th at Spofforth. We had 25 former captains playing, plus the current Skipper. We decided on a 30-over match (with batsmen retiring after 25 runs), with an additional ceremonial first over in which Ian Black (current Druids President and captain in 1958) and Simon Corner (current Druids secretary and captain in 1970) opened the batting. 265 more words
