Warning for future Germany travelers: 3 nights is absolutely not enough time to spend in this lovely, spacious country.

Our short stay in the rolling hillsides was spent wandering the backstreets of Fussen; exploring Nueschwanstein castle (the inspiration for Disney’s Cinderella’s castle); walking over the bridge that overlooks the castle and is suspended above a beautiful waterfall; wandering about the Ehrenbreitstein fortress and the adorable town of Koblenz; touring the stunningly immaculate hotel in Düsseldorf that my great-great-great (x?) grandfather founded many years ago (the Breidenbaucher Hof); a night walk on the Rine River; and driving till 1am searching for a suitable hotel!! 166 more words
