Goose Barnacles catch a ride

Wall Abstract

Bright, vivid moss/lichen (not real sure what this stuff is!) growing on the walls of Battery Davis at Ft. Funston create beautiful abstract designs with a little help from passing dog walkers.

Feast of the gulls

At least that’s what I think took these Dungeness before their time. The carapace of each were littered along the water line. Maybe something else made a banquet of so many of these teenage crab, I’d like to know.
