One cleaned up alleyway leading off Ruskin Road

One notice asking people to respect the fact it’s local residents keeping this alleyway clean

We gave the alleyway leading from the top of Ruskin Road to the garage it’s second clean today and then took ownership of that action by putting up the notice shown above. 107 more words

If everyone did their bit...

Over the years as community activists in various guises, when we’ve been out and about in public, either on a practical action or campaigning, passers-by, while offering support for what we do, often offer advice as to what we should be doing. 811 more words

A positive result...

Back in January, we reported that after an estate walkabout with a Basildon Council estate officer in Laindon, it was agreed that the decaying benches in Purcell Close were no longer fit for purpose and needed to be replaced: … 166 more words
