Today (17th February) was the first major clean up of the year organised by Love Laindon – https://www.facebook.com/lovelaindon – in the Laindon Centre. Until the mooted re-development actually starts, Love Laindon intend to carry on with the clean ups to make the place look as welcoming as is possible after decades of neglect. 357 more words

As the previous article but one was about the need for communities to start pulling together by self organising and making a difference in their neighbourhoods, we though we'd put our money where our mouth is by joining Love Laindon and BASHA on a clean up at the Laindon Centre today...
