Bear Republic Apex IPA – a very different hop profile than a usual double IPA. Very dry and brown sugar sweet in the front. Sweetness fades to a very dry finish with lemon rind, dry grass, and a little hop spice. Very drinkable. Good stuff.

Big Rock Brewery is feeling blindsided by an announcement of production markups from the Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission.
