Cubes of creativity create musings.

Being creative is a bit lost on me at present. I have been so busy with setting up my website, preparing for my first ever fair, fixing other collected paintings for the fantail collection, planning and making “start something” creativity packs, dealing with suppliers and endless paperwork… and planning some visits to other places….(where maybe you may join me for a good discussion over a wine or coffee…?)…well, there really hasn’t been much creativity going on in my life (apart from a few photographs) of late. 84 more words

Life lessons in the weather....

It wasn’t even five o’clock. But that’s winter for you. We had rain, wind, early darkness and then through the dark clouds a final defiant burst of sunlight just as it tipped below the horizon…a little reminder that after the rain the sun will always come, in life and in weather.

Orchid, Orchid so contrary...how does your garden grow?

Orchids are quite contradictory. They look exotic, appear fragile, are expensive and are apparently notoriously difficult to grow…especially where I live, an area known for its frequently rainfall, salt laden sea air and crisp mountain breezes. 97 more words

Beauty in the winter branches blowing in the wind...

The shifting light

It was the strangest sunset. The sky was pale blue still with low dark stormy clouds on the horizon. And just at that one clear place where the sky meets the sea…there was a tiny thin sliver of brilliant red – one red thin line. 29 more words
