Timeline Block

The timeline block allows you to arrange your blocks along a vertical timeline.

Setup

1. Create a post or page.
2. Click the ( + ) sign, and the timeline block can be found in the Widgets section. You can also use the search to find “timeline” or initiate the block search by typing / and “timeline.”

3. Add content to the timeline using any block you like.
4. To add a new entry on the timeline, click Add entry.

Block Settings

When you select a block, you will find additional block settings in the right sidebar. If you do not see the sidebar, you may need to click the Settings icon in the top-right corner to bring up the settings. This icon looks like a square with two uneven columns:

Alternate Items

To alternate the entries in the Timeline, select the entire timeline block to access Timeline Settings in the sidebar menu. Under Alternate items, toggle the button to stagger the entries in the timeline.

With Alternate items, entries will switch between the left and right.
