Get a Short Link in the Editor

To find the shortlink for any page or post on WordPress.com, take the following steps:

1. Visit your dashboard.
2. Click on Pages or Posts on the left side.
3. Click on the title of any published page or post to open it in the WordPress editor.
4. Click on the green “Jetpack” icon in the top-right corner:

5. Click on the “Shortlink” option.
6. Click the button labeled “Copy” to copy the link to your device’s clipboard and share it anywhere you like.

2. Directly under the title field, next to the post/page Permalink, you will find the “Get Shortlink” button:

3. Click on “Get Shortlink” and a dialog box will appear with the post/page’s shortlink. Copy it to share it with the world.

Get a Shortlink in the Action Bar

When viewing a post or page while logged into your WordPress.com account, you can copy the shortlink from the Action Bar:

1. Visit a page or post in your web browser.
2. Click the “three dots” icon in the action bar at the bottom right of the screen.
3. Click “Copy shortlink” to copy the link to your device’s clipboard and share it anywhere you like.
