Import » Import from Wix

Our Wix Importer is a quick way to move your content. All you have to do is provide your site’s web address (called a URL). When the import is complete, you’ll have a site that’s pre-filled with your content and ready to be your new home on the web.

Supported Content

Here’s a non-exhaustive list of the types of content we can import:

  • Blog posts
  • Static pages
  • Images
  • Various other blocks and features

We will attempt to import as much of your content as possible, but there is some functionality we don’t support quite yet. We’ll continue to add support, so if there’s an important bit that isn’t incorporated in your new site, please reach out to us and let us know about it!

Business and eCommerce Plan Sites

If you have a site on the Business or eCommerce plan that has plugins installed or uploaded themes, you will need to first create a new free site on your account and import the Wix content to the free site. You’ll then export from the free site and import that content into your Business or eCommerce site.

  1. While logged into your account, go to
  2. Select the free site address, and free plan
  3. Then, you can go to Tools → Import on the free site, and import your Wix content

  5. A file will be exported to your computer. Take that file to your Business/eCommerce site and go to Tools → Import
  6. Select Import from WordPress, and use the XML file option to import your content

Alternatively, Business or eCommerce plan sites can also use a tool like to import their content.
