Add Email »Add Email through GoDaddy email hosting

If you already had email for your domain through GoDaddy before mapping your domain at WordPress.com, you can connect that email hosting back to your account here by following the steps below.

To begin, go to Domains and click on the relevant domain. Domains Edit Screen

Select Edit Name Servers & DNS.

Click DNS Records

Note that GoDaddy users in Europe and Asia may need to use different CNAME and MX records (see bottom of page).

Click the Add New DNS button and choose MX from the dropdown menu. Enter your domain name in the first box, the record value in the second (smtp.secureserver.net for the first record), and lastly, the priority number (0 for the first record). Click the Add New DNS button to save each record.
Enter each of the following records.
MX smtp.secureserver.net 0
MX mailstore1.secureserver.net 10

Next, add these two records, using the CNAME type.

Name: email
Alias Of: email.secureserver.net

Name: mail
Alias Of: pop.secureserver.net

Your email will begin working in a few hours. GoDaddy may request an additional SRV-type record, which you can get from them, and add on the same page as these other DNS records.
