Who should take the Create Your Site course?
All levels of creators — beginner, intermediate, advanced — of every niche are welcome to take this course. Anyone who wants to learn to build a website from the ground up, or to get more familiar with WordPress.com tools and features in order to improve their own site, will benefit from this course. This is a step-by-step course, with video and corresponding detailed explanations accompanying each lesson.

All of our courses are self-paced, so you can begin whenever fits your schedule best.
When does the course finish?
You can keep coming back to the course material for as long as you like once you’ve completed it. All of our courses are open to the public, with no expiry date. We will add new material and make updates along the way as needed.
Will the content of the courses be accessible to me if I have a disability?
Yes, where applicable, courses consist of a mixture of text-based lessons and video. Some videos have no audio, some include captions, some include transcripts, and some are a visual supplement to the written instructions. Our aim is to make the content of our courses accessible to participants of all abilities and needs. If you encounter anything that isn’t accessible to you, please let us know in the Education Community Forum and we will do our best to fix it.
