1. Attention-grabbing headline
A large, bold headline at the top of your homepage accomplishes a few things:

This is rather straightforward, but resources are quite valuable to visitors. You can list some of your top resources or recommended tools as related to the topic of your website.
For example, a travel website might list recommended tools for finding good deals on flights or hotels.
6. About the author
People want to know who’s behind the website they’re visiting. Provide them with this information through a content block in the footer or sidebar of your website.
If you host your site on WordPress.com, you can create a content block using a widget.
7. Latest posts
If you have a blog, list some of your most recent posts somewhere on the homepage. Traditionally, a listing like this one will occupy the central content section of your page.
Sharing your five most recent posts is a good rule of thumb. Make sure that the headlines of each post are not too big, or they will overpower your homepage’s primary headline.
