Bio

I am a Christian wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and retired school teacher married for the past forty eight years to my high school sweetheart, Richard, who retired after thirty years in the ministry as a Baptist pastor. Together, we have three adult daughters and eight grandchildren ranging in ages from ten to twenty six years old, and two great-grandchildren. Since childhood I have possessed a passion for writing journals, stories, and music. After suffering an cerebral aneurysm in 2005 and a mild stroke in 2010, I retired from teaching middle school and wrote my first faith-based romance novel, “Break Away,” that was published in December 2010 by West Bow Press. Since my early twenties, I have written over twenty-four Gospel songs and numerous Bible-study lessons. I hope that my blogs will be a source of encouragement and inspiration to my readers.
