Bio

I grew up in Southern California, with many summers spent in the High Sierras camping in the pines by Upper Twin Lake or at the beach with the waves crashing on the shore. The beauty of this nature has always inspired me. I love to garden where I can play with color and texture and watch with amazement as things grow. Beading allows me countless such opportunities to create and lifts my spirit. I believe we are all born with creativity in our soul. It manifests in many ways...through a man's hands as he customizes a car with cherry apple red and hot orange flames; in a fine chef's artful presentation of the food he's made oh so delicious. My mother expressed it in the lively and fun way she decorated the fourth grade classroom that she taught in. My father created with paint, pen and paper and also in wood. I grew up listening to my brother play and sing James Taylor's songs with all the fingering only a few hours after he brought home the albums. My husband writes with ease, the words flowing easily from his pen. My daughter and son have huge smiles on their faces when they open a new box of crayons. And I hold all these treasures close to my heart. Currently, we are on an adventure to move from our suburban neighborhood and get a bit of acreage. We wait to see what will be.
