Please give us a link to a post where it’s not working and also to the YouTube in question, or just paste here the code you used to post the YouTube.

@robertd if you are referring to your most recent post with a youtube video:
you are somehow using the wrong code. you have an “image” hyperlink to the youtube autoplay page.
Your other youtube embedding codes seem fine.

WordPress does not accept the “&fmt=18” extension in the YouTube URL to display high quality video. Is this on purpose o do I do something wrong?

bleiglass, “&fmt=18” is relatively new which can provide MP4-encoded version video if it is available for that particular url. so it might be that your particular video does not have a high quality version.

my video I know for a fact does have a high quality version. When I watch it on youtube and place the code “&fmt=18” it works perfectly… but not on wordpress… anyone know when this will be fixed?

I don’t think it’s broken per-se. WP.com might simply not have gotten around to allowing that code yet. You can request it via your Support button on the Dashboard.
