Years later still no currency switcher?

    Dear WP, I have loved you for many years but I find it quite unbelievable that we still cannot switch the currency by ourselves on either the plan comparison page or plan upgrade page! This problem has been going on for years … what’s the reason behind this?

    Please switch my account’s currency to HKD, by the way. Thank you!

    Thank you. Could you tell us the reason that the currency can only be switched manually by a WP staff member?



    The number of requests is small, maybe 3 to 5 a week, so we’re able to handle it ourselves on a case-by-case basis.

    So, as far as developing a customer-facing setting, we have a few higher priorities at the moment.

    I have to say, over the years there were multiple times when I wanted to started a WP blog but gave up, simply because I was travelling and the price comparison page was showing a foreign currency, so I used other platforms instead. Hopefully a user setting will be implemented soon :)
