WP.org site crosspost plugin authentication/login fail
-
I have several WP.com and WP.org blogs. I crosspost from my WP.org blogs to WP.com.
I am trying to post remotely to http://tonieslnotes.wordpress.com/ from my WP.org site via plugins: toni-esl.com/notes. ‘Authentication failed’
JetPack is successfully connected.1). I had successfully been doing this for several months – over a year?
2). My WP.org source, site toni-esl.com/notes, is a subsite of a MultiSite install.
3). Other sites in the WP.org MS install successfully post to my WP.com account/blogs via WP plugins.Thank you
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

We provide support only for wordpress.COM hosted sites. Our support docs do not apply to
(1) local installs of wordpress.ORG software on your own server or
(2) wordpress.ORG software installs on paid hosting, and we do not provide support for them at wordpress.COM.Also, note that we do not provide Jetpack support https://jetpack.me/support/ for sites linked to wordpress.COM accounts with the Jetpack plugin. Note that Jetpack is a plugin used by WordPress.ORG bloggers to achieve parity with what we already have built into WordPress.COM blogs. A wordpress.COM account is required to run the Jetpack plugin, but we do not provide Jetpack support on these wordpress.COM support forums. Please direct Jetpack issues to where they can get Jetpack support.
re: Jetpack support
Some Jetpack solutions are here http://jetpack.me/support/Others are in the Jetpack support forum at WordPress.org
http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/jetpackHowever, if help cannot be found at either one then they can file a Jetpack support ticket here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/?jetpack=needs-service
You are posting to the wrong support forum.
WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
As you are referring to a site that is not hosted here, if you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG account, then click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right-hand corner of the page that opens, https://wordpress.org/support/register.php so you can post to the support forums there.

Thank you for your thorough reply!
I thought that perhaps there could be an technical issue with authentication in one of my WP.com blogs.I am a long time user. I do have several WP.com blogs and several WP.org self-hosted sites. And I am registered in both systems/networks. I will head for a support forum in WP.org.
JetPack should not be directly a part of this. I was blindly providing potentially helpful info.
I was wrong on all counts today! I will note you suggestions and move on accordingly.
Thank you again.
Cheers! -
