  Is WP down in the UK? People who I follow in the USA are posting, but my sure won’t load. I can access dashboard and the reader and that’s it. People on Twitter are commenting too, so I know it’s not just me. Do you know about this? Can you tell me when this will be fixed please?

  1. Who is your ISP?
  2. What is your IP? (Visit https://www.google.com/#q=whats+my+ip)
  3. Can you visit these four sites and let me know if you can access any of them?

  IP address is 90.198.59.118
  I can only access the last one at WordPress.com – reader, dashboard, I can even write a post. However I can’t view my site.

  Hi there!

  I’m very sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for working with us to identify and resolve the issue.

  We have some automated security measures in place that prevent access from IP addresses that are seen as abusive or possibly harmful to WordPress.com. Sky, your ISP, routes traffic to the USA (and possibly other countries) for many of their customers over a small number of IP addresses, so in this case, one bad actor on Sky’s network caused multiple Sky customers to get blocked from accessing WordPress.com. We have identified the IP addresses in question and worked around this issue for now.
