WP Admin link disappeared???

For some reason the “WP Admin” link has disappeared; I can log in (which by default goes to Reader) and then click on My Site… but the link for “WP Admin” which normally appears on the left sidebare of My Site is no longer there.

I have an entirely separate WordPress blog (no connection to this one whatsoever) and that one works normally, so it is definitely a problem with this one (The Connoisseur Archive) only.

The only thing I’ve done differently here is that a few days ago I changed my username to this one (connoisseurarchivist). Thinking that perhaps this may have disabled the WP Admin link, I tried logging in under my former username… but that didn’t work.

How can I get my WP Admin “privileges” back? (and what did I do? lol)

Some additional info:
I also tried logging in with my email address (that has not changed); same problem — no WP Admin link, which normally appears on “My Site” between the links for View Site and Stats.

However, now I only have the View Site, Stats, and Plan links in that section. No link for WP Admin.

I also doublechecked the Users page to make sure that my username “connoisseurarchivist” is being shown as Administrator; it is.

There are no other Users on the blog.

I’m at a loss. Help?
