WordPress Time

WordPress always runs on GMT/UTC, but you can set the time offset for your timezone in settings > general.
Right now for eastern, it is -4. When we go off daylight saving time, you will have to change it because GMT/UTC does not change for DST.
-
If you mean the time on your blog, in your dashboard got to settings>general settings and set it to UTC-4

Tag, you’re it :)
(And I really wish I didn’t get those “slow down, you move too fast” messages :( )

[Wacky conspiracy theory removed – Mark]
Vivian, tsp and justjennifer – those warnings will not now appear :)

Good morning-looks like we’re having an early weekend. :pThe WP offset thing drives me nuts; especially since we go off daylight savings time here this weekend.

Hey – did giving us that privilege take away our links to our blogs in our user names? I see that it’s no longer showing.

The “forums not showing my URL” bug has been fixed!
Sadly, you’ll have to do some work too :(
Go to your blog’s admin, and edit your profile (click your username in the upper right). Re-enter your website’s url under “Contact Info” (about half way down) and click “Update Profile” at the bottom of the page.
Sorry about the mess.

You have to update your profile. I guess the exemption from the Slow Down thing did something to your profile.

@rain-OK, thanks. Was wondering where the link went on my forum profile page. But now I’m wondering why some usernames are bolded and others not. Was it always like that? (My brain can’t handle too many sudden changes after a night of beer drinking.)

Well, I was going to say staff are bold, but Mark isn’t bold, and neither is the OP.
{shrugs}
