WordPress login – disconnect and connecting new site
-
Hello There
Many years I created this free WordPress site for my fathers art exhibition (thelisadrawings.wordpress.com) – he has since passed away and I no longer use it. I currently have my own website http://www.kalleryan.com where I am trying to set up WooCommerce for book sales. However, for the payments step on WooCommerce it is asking that I log in to WordPress. But it is logging me in to this old free site, and I want to log in to my current site (which is managed by GoDaddy). There doesnt appear to be any way to disconnect this old WordPress site from my log in and reset it to connect to my current website. GoDaddy said they are unable to help as WordPress is a third party. I would be super grateful if you could help me, as I love using WordPress and I am keen to set up my ecommerce store in time for selling some books for the festive seasonLet me know if you need any additional details
cheers

To use WooCommerce Payments, you need to connect to a WordPress.com user account as that’s where your payments are processed.
Since you have a WordPress.com user account
kalleballe, just connect your site to this account and you’ll be able to complete the setup.Your old WordPress.com site has nothing to do with this connection, so you don’t need to worry about that.
