WordPress joining blog problems

Add topic to favorites
I am trying to join a wordpress blog site for school. My teacher has sent me several invites and I have accepted the invitations but I am still not on the blog as a contributor, I have done this about 8 or nine times now and I am starting to get a little frustrated. If you have any help the would be great!

Now that you have accepted the invite, you have a WordPress.com account.

The teacher will now need to add your account to the blog.

well i have talked to my teacher several times and i am still not on the blog and we have gone over all the steps i am just really confused

Did she add your email address to the blog from Users -> Add New?
