Why is Hever showing when I activated Dyad2?

  • I chose Dyad2 theme for my new blog, but the default Hever theme that was auto selected is showing i layout. How do I get this changed?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hi,

    snowaura.wordpress.com is no longer available.

The authors have deleted this site.

Are you referring to the deleted site, or another? Switching to another theme doesn’t automatically provide you with all of the features present on the demo of that theme. Construction is typically necessary, and instructions for adding features available on the theme and otherwise building the site to resemble the demo will be available at https://wordpress.com/theme/themename.

  • Also, images may be inherited from the previous theme. These may be deleted, or replaced. Layout options may be changed.

  • I created another site…and it’s still the same! I give up. Will probably just stick with Never…But I really like dyad2.

  • Hi snowviolin,

Dyad 2 uses posts on its front page. Here are the basics for getting that going:

    – Publish several posts, with featured images

    – Go to My Site > Customize, and click on Front Page. Choose to display posts on the front page.

You can also add a slider in the header area by featuring some posts. We have more details here — just scroll past the intro:

By the way, if you want the old address back, let us know right away so we can restore it for you.
