Why have you silenced me?
I compose in Classic and then copy and paste my blog into [another blog’s] classic editor. (That is the REASON that I switched from Blogger to WordPress in 2007). Your new system has completely destroyed that and *silenced my blog.*
After a week with ‘help’ I find that there IS NO TRANSLATION between the two blogs, and, as a result, my blog is silent, although I still compose on [another famous blog]. I cannot simply copy my .HTML and paste into the other blog’s editor.
I cannot post my last two blogs because of your uncalled-for decision to put the geezer out to pasture. There is no way to simply paste the WordPress HTML into MY blog with its good-for-nothing Gutenberg plugin. Make that ‘useless and confusing.’ [Note, I have been computer typesetting and word-processing since 1977.]
So, what do I do?
> I compose in Classic and then copy and paste my blog into [another blog’s] classic editor.
This certainly does not sound ideal, more like a double effort instead. While there are various ways to publish on your WordPress blog I would suggest a more unified experience by utilizing the WordPress.com App and Markdown for syntax. Both available for a few years now.

On the contrary, there is a block just for that: custom HTML. Here’s the related document on how it works: https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/custom-html-block/
Since the idea of working with the (long ago announced) new editor takes some understanding of the concept, I’d suggest reading this document also:
The basic idea is that instead of thinking that everything “lives” in a single blob, each of the parts in the content/post/page has their own custom tools for manipulating their properties and they can also be nested. With way more flexibility.

Could you elaborate more on this? What is the URL of your website or what is the name of your account on the WordPress.com platform?

The Classic Editing Experience is Moving, Not Leaving:
Say Hello to the WordPress Block Editor:
I am a volunteer here, hope this helps, cheers!
@hart00 I also want to make sure that you saw Staff’s reply to your other inquiry about working with the new Editor at https://wordpress.com/forums/topic/what-the-f/ I’ve gone ahead and closed that thread.
Just for future knowledge, if you still need help on the same topic, it’s best to continue the conversation in your previous thread where you were getting Staff assistance so we can keep all support on this in one place as it helps us track progress on your issue. However, since this thread has been flagged for Staff attention, please be patient while they get back to you here.
In case you need to find your previous forum threads, you’ll find them listed on your forum profile https://wordpress.com/forums/users/hart00/

I wrote a long and precise post and then found there was no way to contact WP management with it! My post here is a highly edited version.
While I appreciate being treated like a second-class citizen, unworthy of communications with those ‘above the salt,’ [Google it] I have found a workaround* (no thanks to the forums) and while I appreciate your talking down to me, I find none of the suggestions above helpful.
