  Hello everyone,

  The tag surfer is a nice idea in theory, but I have a continual problem with it. Whenever I add a new TAG to the “Tag Surfer”, that word shows up as a CATEGORY on my blog and I have to go and delete it.

  For the critics, yes I can continue to delete it — but for the non-critics my question is is there perhaps some setting that I am overlooking to shut of this “feature” or is is perhaps a “bug” that, per usual, nobody but me has.

  If I were you I’d report it to staff. It sounds like a bug they’d want to fix.

  It’s deliberate. I’m not quite sure whether it’s an intended feature or merely a side effect of the way the tag surfer is implemented, but it doesn’t happen by accident.

  Its really annnoying. I delete many extra tags from the tag manager now.
