Why can't I add a new catagory to the post?

  I run three sites all using the same template Coroline. The work fine, this one will not allow me to add a category. Thanks Jim Campbell (email visible only to moderators and staff)

  Are you sure that you’re writing a post or a page? Categories can’t be added to pages.
