Hallo,
I have a website for our hunting business. Someone else did it for me, but I want to do it myself and add photos and update prices. I want to stay at my old domain. Can you please guide me step by step what is the best way to do it? -
Hi toekomsbowhuntingsafaris,
Do you have access to the hosting account in which the domain is registered? If you do, you can follow this steps to get started.
To start, you’ll probably need to transfer your domain from your current registrar to WordPress.com.This is why you need access to the hosting account. If you need help doing this, here’s a guide for you to follow:https://en.support.wordpress.com/incoming-domain-transfer/
It explains everything you need to know about transferring your site.
If you’ve already done that, you just need to start building.
Here’s some useful information for you to get started:

Hope this helps! if you need anything else feel free to ask for help.

Hi there @toekomsbowhuntingsafaris are you looking to keep your site and domain with your current web hosting provider or move it here to the WordPress.com platform?
WPcom (where we are ) and WP are separate entities with different documentation and support forums. More information about the differences can be found here: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/
If your site is using the WordPress open source software, and you’re looking for more about how to work with it, you’ll find that information at https://wordpress.org/support/ where you’ll find documentation and users who have more experience with the software you are using. If you don’t have a username on the ORG forums you can register one on the top of that page.
Let us know if you have any other questions.
