Want widget to show only on front page
-
Hi there, I’ve started a spoof page at dailyracist.org
I’d like widgets (about me, contact etc) to appear only on the front page and front page only
(if you click on image or comment, and it opens up to a new window – it needs to stay big enough to read – they are unreadable if widget sidebar takes up space)
I understand you can only get widget logic as a plug in on .org not .com, which doesn’t help me much
Thank you
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

This thread will be moved to the CSS Forum for you where you can get the help you need. Do not create a duplicate thread as if you do it may take longer to get help.

Hi there,
We actually have widget visibility built right in to WordPress.com, so you can control where widgets appear on your site. :) You can do this under Appearance > Widgets in your dashboard. Click on the Visibility button on each widget to control where it appears.
We have more information about how widget visibility works here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/#widget-visibility
Please let me know if you’d like any further help with that!
