Hey Is anyone out there? Help please? I have 34 followers who I cannot disappoint – do you know how long it takes to get 34 followers – a freakin long time. It’s like you don’t care about us little people. I bet if I was the drunken cyclist this would be over by now. Well I’m sure a winewanker would have you “handling” this right away.
Ok well, whenever. I’m cool with it. I’ll just hang. Whatev. Just, like, call me ok. I’m still here….

Hi!
I suspect this is a browser/file type compatibility issue. The video in the following post is playing for me on Chrome:
This Malbec Should Be Arrested For Assault!
Can you give it a try in Chrome as well? I’d like to see if it plays correctly on your side in Chrome. That way, we can figure out if this is isolated to Safari only!

Thank-yooooooooou jeremeyduvall! You engineered my happiness by informing me…..I know you are not a why-I-should-pay-$60-for-VideoPress engineer, if there is someone or a forum where I can get a refund, I’d really appreciate your referral. Maybe you can answer my luddite question: Why pay $60 when I could embed a YouTube video for free? What is the added benefit? Appreciate any light you can shed. Thx for putting up with me for one more response.

Hi there!
I went ahead and refunded your VideoPress purchase and removed the upgrade from your account. You should see the funds become available at your bank within the next several days.
VideoPress has a few advantages to YouTube. For one, you can see detailed stats about where your video is embedded as well as how many plays it gets (obviously plays are also a stat on YouTube). You can also customize the video module with CSS and use some parameters like “autoplay” to make the video play automatically when someone hits your page.
It’s really just a matter of control preference. If you like to upload your own files to WordPress.com, VideoPress is the answer. If you’re okay with just embedding from other sites, YouTube works just fine!
