    Hi there,
I’m a Chinese customer and I use wordpress as my website. But recently after I set the CDN of my website, all of my website works well except the jetpack plugin. It is mainly reflected in the inability to retrieve my website on the official website of wordpress. And I cannot use the wordpress client on Android or IOS to manage my website because of this problem. How can I set up CDN to make sure the Jetpack plug-in works properly and your official website can index the comments and browsing data of my website? It’s really an urgent problem that I hope you can offer me an practical solution. Thanks a lot!

The blog I need help with is blog.fanyangmeng.com.

    Hi –

We can certainly help get you pointed in the right direction for some help. It sounds like your site is running the open source WordPress installation though. That is not what we do here at WordPress.com.

Could you share the site URL, and then we can take a closer look. Thanks!

    Hi there,

When I run your site through the Jetpack debugger (https://jetpack.com/support/debug/) I get a message regarding access to your site’s XML-RPC.

Can you please contact your hosting provider and ask them to allow access to that file? This way your site will be properly connected to WordPress.com and the CDN will start working.

    Hi fstat,
I still have a quetion about the XML-RPC, I mean, what is this? Is this a type of file or is someting else?
Actually my CDN of this website have already working.
Do you mean that I should set a rule of my CDN that it should not cache this file type which is xmlrpc or anything?
I googled it that it looks like XML-RPC is represent ‘xmlrpc.php’.
But I have alredy set a rule that while CDN working it should not cache all of the php files of my server.
I’m really confusing about it. Hope you can reply to me as soon as possible.

I picked up on that there is some php files whose name contains xmlrpc, should I set the CDN-not-cache-rule to not cache these files? But in fact I have already set that CDN should not cache any php files. It’s really weird….

XML-RPC is how the Jetpack plugin connects to your servers in order to index and manage the content on your site. If Jetpack cannot connect, the features added by that plugin won’t work.

You can see the connection errors for your site here:

Actually my CDN of this website have already working.

If your CDN is already working, you’re not using Jetpack’s CDN. In that case, please contact support for whichever CDN service you are using for help.

You have posted in the WordPress.com forums, but your site is not hosted with us. You are using the open source WordPress software, which is something completely different.
