username issue — I am change my username from joerdscvd to my old / other user name nycr88 – it would not let me — – I have 2 email address / 2 accounts I want it complete separate – joerdscvd and nycr88 2 other accounts — (email visible only to moderators and staff) joerdscvd.wordpress.com and (email visible only to moderators and staff) nycr88.wordpress.com — please help me

And, what does it say here in the relevant support doc?

Once you change your username you will not be able to change it back and the old name will not be available for you or anyone to use. If you just want to show your name differently please only change your Display Name. http://en.support.wordpress.com/change-your-username/

Hi there,

When you changed from the username nycr88 to the username joerdscvd, it disabled the old username nycr88 so that’s not available anymore for you or anyone else to use (as timethief mentioned). You’ll need to choose a new, unique username if you’d like to set up a second account.
