Use a subdomain
-
I would like to create a subdomain on my existing site and use that for my WordPress blog. I don’t want that to map to WordPress because I never want users to see the address deliberationsbyqe.wordpress.com. Instead I only want users to enter and see deliberations.quinnemanuel.com. I already own quinnemanuel.com. Is there a way to do this (with the understanding that I will upgrade to premium)? Thank you!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Yes, you can map your sub-domain which you already own to your website: deliberationsbyqe.wordpress.com.
For Mapping your sub-domain, you’ll need to have upgraded WordPress.com account with one of the plans mentioned here
Plans. Each paid plan comes with a free domain credit you can use to either register a new domain or map one you already own.
Upgrade your account first and then follow this
1. Click on “Switch Site”
2. Choose your site deliberationsbyqe.wordpress.com.
3. Click on “Plan” Upgrade to Personal, Premium or Business whichever you like.
You’ll able to see notification Free-domain credit > claim
4. Click on “Domains”
5. Click on the “Add-sub Domain” button
6. Type your sub-domain.Also please read this for mapping subdomains not registered through WordPress.com
