thank you for your answer. I have some douts too now.
The site i need help is: https://csiprojectblog.wordpress.com/
Wordpress can register only domains: .com, .net, .org o .me?
So the only solution that i have is to pay the domain registration by an other registar and pay the mapping to wordpress?
What is it a “mapping”? Is it a re-direct or an biunivocal association? (I mean: if a do a mapping from “www.csi-projec.org” to my wordpress web site, the domain “csiprojectblog.wordpress.com” will disappear on doesn’t?”
Can i remain in a free plan even if i do a mapping?
thanks in advance
bye

the correct address of my actual domain is http://www.csi-project.org and it’s hosted on Aruba, where i buyed the domain registration.

an other issue: what abou my email service? Can i let it on Aruba? Or i have to transfer on WordPress? Does WordPress offer an email service?

Hi Pasquale,
If you’ve registered a domain elsewhere, and you purchase domain mapping for your WordPress.com site, it will allow you to replace the default csiprojectblog.wordpress.com site address with your domain. And you are correct, in this case, you would pay WordPress.com for the domain mapping upgrade, and you would pay your registrar for the domain registration itself.
This page will show you how to map your domain to your WordPress.com site:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/
On the other hand, if you want to register a domain here at WordPress.com, here’s the information on the domains we offer:
As for email, you can keep your email hosting with Aruba.
I hope that helps, and let me know if you have any questions with anything else!
