Add topic to favorites
Hi,
I want to upload the sample data for my website from the theme package.
I went to the import page and thus came up.
Upload XML file with demo content.
I choose the file by it said – ‘Sorry, this file type is not permitted for security reasons.’

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello @saskia938,

I should assume you were trying to upload a theme on to saskia938.wordpress.com which probably is on a free plan. Correct me if my assumption is incorrect. Please note, only users with a Business Plan upgrade here on WordPress.com are permitted to upload third-party themes to their WordPress.com site.

Hope this explains why you were not able to upload a theme to your site.
