Upgrading my domain

  • I have my domain with bluehost now but just received an email from you to upgrade. Confused. Please help

    Is it registered to BlueHost? Or is it hosted by BlueHost?

    I am tagging a WP support, you will find “modlook” on the side, so they can check what was the upgrade notification for.

    What exactly did the email say that you received, and what is the FROM address on that email? You posted this thread only 3 minutes after you created your account, about 12 hours ago. It is highly unlikely that we would have sent you any email before that, as we wouldn’t even have had access to your email address.

  • It says that my domain live authentic.com has expired. I had changed it to http://www.liveauthentic.net I am confused which one has expired

    I can forward you the emails if you tell me the address where I should send them

    Also would you please check on my Gsuite account, which I think was connected to it and I have gotten a message for renewal of that one too.

    Do you mean liveauthentic.com? Domain names cannot contain spaces.

    The domain liveauthentic.com is not registered with us, and has never been registered or connected here. We also have no G Suite subscriptions on our system connected to that domain.

    I suspect you bought both of those from a different service provider where you were using the self-hosted WordPress.org software, but you definitely did not buy those from us.

    Based on a Whois lookup, liveauthentic.com is registered with Register.com and has been since 2010, and the DNS records for that domain does not show any evidence of a G Suite connection to the same domain.

    liveauthentic.net appears to be registered with Bluehost, and I do see the DNS records for G Suite on that domain, so you either bought a G Suite subscription for that domain from Bluehost, or directly from Google.

    I ask again, what is the FROM address on the emails? If we sent them they would come from a @wordpress.com address. If there’s anything different than “wordpress.com” after the @, we didn’t send them.

    So yes my domain is liveauthentic.net / which is with bluehost!
    I did cancel the old one with you, which was livauthentic.com
    You also refunded me for the hosting! Now since after your research you established that my domain is hosted by bluehost and I don’t have a gsuite with you- should i upgrade anything whatsoever at the WordPress site? My best ,Vanya

    livauthentic.com is not the same as liveauthentic.com. I cannot give you an accurate answer if you provide me with incorrect information.

    The domain livauthentic.com is registered with us and expired a week ago, but belongs to a different username account than the one you’re using to post to this thread. That domain is still active in the account that owns it, which is why we sent out a renewal reminder, but will be removed in a few weeks if it is not restored. You only need to pay to renew that domain if you wish to keep it, but you’ll need to be logged in to the correct account to be able to do that.

    I do not need that one anymore! So if it expires that’s ok! The one I need is liveauthentic.net, which is hosted by bluehost, so I assume I’m good!
