unwanted frame around images
-
Hi. I’m using the Fusion theme. Images always appear with thin grey line around them I don’t want this. Is there a way I can get rid of it please?

Hi –
Please send a link to the site in question. Then we can take a closer look. It might be possible with CSS but that does require an upgrade to the premium plan.

Hi David –
I need to see the theme’s CSS in order to make an evaluation on what can be done. Please share the URL. We are able to still view the site as staff even if it is private (so we can provide help).

Ah ok, sorry. Here it is:

There are other pages too of course, but this displays the problem quite well.
Cheers

Thanks :)
Yes, that can be removed through CSS changes. In order to access that level of customization though, the premium plan is required. Those details are at https://wordpress.com/pricing/
I can’t say it’s worth the premium plan to make one small change like this, though. If you wanted to add a domain or take advantage of those other features then it might be worth the upgrade.
The free way to change this would be to use a theme that doesn’t have a border around the images.
The CSS to make the change is:
.entry img, .attachment-entry img, .navigation .alignleft img, .navigation .alignright img { border: 0px -
Thanks. If I can complete the site (it’s big) then I would upgrade to get the domain name. WordPress themes are full of little tricks like this to encourage you to buy :-)
