Unable to update/log into blog

Not sure of getting help with this problem here. I have a blog that came as part of my Yahoo Small Business account. The blog is powered by WordPress and I have been unable to edit or post to the blog for a few weeks now. The blog can be viewed but any attempt to log in as administrator via the link on the blog itself or the Yahoo blog manager dash board leads me to the WordPress login page and when I try to login it times out with an error message such as “Error establishing a database connection” or “This page isn’t working…” in Chrome or “The connection was reset” in Firefox. I spent about five hours with Yahoo Small Business’ Web Hosting support but once I get to the WordPress login page their support stops. Everything was working fine until a couple weeks ago. I should also mention that the username a password that I used to access my blog as mentioned above has never allowed me access to it via WordPress.com.

Can you send a link to the site you are unable to login to? Once I know which site you are referring to, I’ll be happy to look at the next steps.
