Backstory: I’ve been trying to get a grasp of the business/commerce portion of the Terms of Service. I read a thread that advised people to contact staff directly, followed the link provided only to get referred back to the community forums.
Now: I tried to post here asking how to contact them, but because my messages are getting cut off, this has become a new problem for me. How do I post into this support forum so that the whole message will appear?
Thank you.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Here are the attempts to post my query:

The only very narrow exception to the no affiliate links and no affiliate marketing blogs policy is found here in italics:
Blogs that violate our advertising policy or fall into one of the following categories are not allowed on WordPress.com:
Affiliate marketing blogs: Blogs with the primary purpose of driving traffic to affiliate programs and get-rich-quick schemes (“Make six figures from home!!”, “20 easy steps to top profits!!”, etc). This includes multi-level marketing (MLM) blogs and pyramid schemes. To be clear, people writing their own original book, movie or game reviews and linking them to Amazon, or people linking to their own products on Etsy do NOT fall into this category. Here is a thread in the support forums that talks more about which affiliate links are OK or not OK. https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/affiliate-linkAside from a blog being accepted into WordAds http://www.wordads.co/ no blogger initiated advertising, retailing or reselling the work or products created or services provided by anyone other than yourself is allowed on free hosted wordpress.com blogs. E-commerce transactions via shopping carts and the like cannot be conducted on free blogs from and being free hosted by WordPress.com. Paid content and/or sponsored content is not allowed.

I’m apologizing for my errors above. I’m visually challenged and I meant to type:
Your messages are cut off because you do not know how to use the icons correctly. Avoid using them at all and you will not muck up threads.

Thank you, timethief. I know I must have been doing something wrong. I thought I was Italicizing, but I guess not. The “li” icon must mean something else.
I read the thread “affiliate links” from 2010 where you entered some of the replies and I followed your link to the staff contact page only to be circled back to the forums in three easy steps.
So, staff can no longer be contacted directly or there’s a newer form than the one you gave that I should be using that I can’t lay my mouse on?

DOH!!! & DOUBLE DOH!!!
You gave me an e-mail address, not a link! I can only say that I was up all night trying to figure this commerce stuff out, the forum post glitch I was having, and slept only a few hours. Sorry for being a dumb bunny, but i fear that I will again be one in the near future, WordPress-wise.
Thank you so much!

I don’t understand why you would be up all night. Read the comparison here please and know that WordPress.com is not for commercial bloggers. http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
If you want a commercial site you are in the wrong place and that’s clear. Hire a web host http://wordpress.org/hosting/and set up a WordPress.org install.

Thanks, timethief, for the contact information.
A “Happiness Engineer” has responded to my query and tells me that the proposed account “sounds perfectly fine”. I was confounded by the contradictory statements I was reading: “cannot do e-commerce on WP” (seems final) vs “can sell your own creations” (seems conditional).
A balance of original content with relevant links is fine, too.
All the best!
