Unable to delete site, receive an error
-
I am trying to delete our https://delormegps.wordpress.com/ site while logged in as the Admin account.
‘You have active premium upgrades on your site. Please cancel your upgrades prior to deleting your site.’
I check the site and do not see any Premium Services activated. I need to remove this blog as it is outdated.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

That site seems to be using the Adventure theme. It is a Premium theme (which never expires) and that often prevents blogs being deleted without staff help. The easiest solution would be to empty the site of content or set the site to private as there is always the possibility that you could find a use for the site and the Premium theme at some point in the future. And be aware that deleting the site will make that address unusable by you or anyone else again for the immediate future (at least two years).
If you still wish to delete a site then return to this thread and also type modlook into the tag box to the right. That will draw the attention of staff to your request and they should respond in due course.

I made the site Private, but we really do want it to be deleted. I added the special tag for assistance by staff

Hi @delormegps, you have a premium theme on the site. Please confirm whether you’d like us to remove that permanently for you.
Also, you mentioned you need to delete it because it’s outdated. No one can see it if it’s private. Were you planning on re-using the same address to create another site? If so you will not want to delete it, so please clarify your intentions.

I am confirming that I want the site remove permanently.
We will not use the address with WordPress again since our company was acquired.
