Uable to register a wordpress.com URL

    I’m registered, but the blog registration form for a new blog is not accepting any name I try to register. The other fields are working, just not the URL field. To add to the aggravation I am unable to contact support because I don’t have a url registered.
    Any aid is appreciated

    When that happened to me it was because the url I wanted was taken. Try entering it in your browser bar and see if it takes you to a site.

    Scratch what I said. I didn’t see “new blog” and thought you wanted a domain for domain mapping.

    If you mean the url field won’t even take your cursor, enter the url you want in the browser bar and if it’s available it will take you — magically! — to the right spot with a happy cursor. It must be like this, with wordpress.com at the end: thenameyouwant.wordpress.com
