Twenty Fifteen – front page, fonts and left hand white space

  • Hi, my is blog at: apeappmemes.wordpress.com

I’m using the Twenty Fifteen theme. It seems mostly fine for what I need. However, there is a space on the left hand rail to add an image, which is a large white space if you don’t add an image. I’d like to get rid of it. Any ideas?

I did have an image there before, but when switching to mobile and tablet view, it makes the text unreadable. If there’s a way to make this image visible in desktop mode, but invisible in tablet and mobile mode, that would be helpful too.

    Thanks!

    Lyle

  • Hi Lyle – all the types of changes you mention would be possible with custom CSS. I see that you’ve now switched to Lodestar so maybe you’re all set now, just let me know.

Custom CSS is available with the Premium or Business plans.

  • Thanks Kathryn.

    Yes I’ve changed themes now.

I’m on the free plan (trying before buying) so don’t think I can customise CSS. I din’t think I can even use plugins!!
