Twenty Eleven – paragraph (heading 1 2)
-
I don’t see any difference (except text in bold) when using heading 1 and heading 2 on text with the theme Twenty Eleven, i.e. all letters still have the same size.
Hope for assistance.

Are you aware that H heading tags have search engine significance? They have specific meanings and the size is not an issue to search spiders that index your content. I am extremely cautious about mucking around with H level formatting (Heading Tags <h>) in my posts. This is because I know from an SEO POV those (Heading Tags <h>) headings mean specific things to search engines.
There should be only one H1 heading per page;
H1 heading should be the first heading on the page;
Put simply, you have your main idea (H1) and then supporting facts (H2) and sometimes those supporting facts have their own supporting facts (H3).
Heading levels should not be skipped (e.g. H1 to H3).
If needed you can use additional <h> heading tags as <h4>, <h5> & <h6> tags are all supported. In practice though if your web page is optimized correctly for just a few keywords you will rarely have the need to use more than the <h1>, <h2> and the <h3> header tags.Check out the Google SEO starter guide http://static.googleusercontent.com/external_content/untrusted_dlcp/www.google.com/en//webmasters/docs/search-engine-optimization-starter-guide.pdf

If you wish to change font sizes in posts and pages using the HTML editor, rather than incorrectly using the Heading tags, then please see here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/editors/font-size-color/
