tumblr import longer than 24 hours

Adding my name to the list of users whose tumblr import is taking longer than 24 hours.

I’ve been trying to import from Tumblr for days now. I’ve got over 7,000 posts but it’s just been hanging at 1,001. My blog is bigfatwitchbitch.

My blog is huge, 8,000 or so posts—so I’m not surprised I’m having trouble importing it. I just want to cancel the import and do my two smaller blogs (only a few hundred posts each) first, then delete some posts on this blog and get back to it.

I’ve double checked to confirm your import is indeed still queued. It didn’t cancel. But please do reconnect to your Tumblr account if you’ve disconnected it.
We’re processing quite a few imports from Tumblr at the moment, which is causing a backlog of imports in our system. While it may look like your import failed, it’s just in line for processing, and luckily it’s still in the queue. Please allow this to run for the next 24 hours, and if it hasn’t completed by then, update us here.
@groovyswkr and @carmenlitas — if you haven’t done so already, please start a new thread for your question and tag it with modlook so we can check your imports.

Thank you for the reply! I’ve double checked that the connection to tumblr is still active, and will check the status again around the 48 hour mark.

Still no change on my import. I’ve never disconnected from tumblr; it still says it’s “in progress,” but both my posts and drafts are at 0/x. I hate to be a bother but I’d appreciate a second look.

It appears that the import for your site is currently running, so it will hopefully complete soon.
