Trying to remove myself from administrator role

    So, my friend and I had created a blog, where both of us were administrators of that site. Now, I want to remove myself from having any control over the blog.

    I can’t do it myself, and neither my friend’s attempt to remove me as administrator has failed. I can’t even downgrade my role to contributor. What do I do?

    Are you or your friend the OWNER of the site in question?

    “Note that the blog owner’s role cannot be set to anything other than Administrator. If you want to set the blog owner to another role, you’ll need to transfer ownership of the blog to another user first.”

    Hey,
    Thanks! I figured it out.

    I was the owner of the site. I had to remove her from the blog site (because she was also an admin and I cannot transfer ownership to her when she already has). I then transferred it again. Hope that makes sense.
