Trial Period?

    I deeply apologize if this has been asked before (Which I’m sure it has), but is there a trial period before the billing when upgrading to a business account?

    I’m building a site for a customer and need to present it to him before he confirms everything, and I’d rather not pay an annual fee up front before everything is confirmed.

    Hi there, no there is no trial period available on any upgrade plan. All WordPressdotcom upgrade plans are paid for the full year at checkout and are automatically renewed with the card on record unless you opt out.

    However, refunds are available for 30 days from date of purchase on everything but new domain registrations, which need to be cancelled within 48-hours of purchase. Here’s more on refunds: https://en.support.wordpress.com/refunds/

    If you were hired to build this site for a company, I also recommend that you use that company’s credit card to make the purchase so that it isn’t tied to your card in case they decide to continue and renew.
