Transfer Wix website to WordPress / setup CCbill
-
Hi,
I wonder if you can help. I am currently looking to transfer my existing Wix website to WordPress. And then set up a paid subscription membership. As my website is Glamour photography related. Paypal and Stripe won’t process any of my payments – as it has termed the adult content. I wonder if you can advise if the ‘Premium Freelance’ WordPress option would allow me to set up CCbill to accept payments. As all the levels on WordPress say accept payments. Does this mean CCbill?I don’t have a site with WordPress.com yet

Hi there!
Please note that my reply will be about hosting your site with us on WordPress.com. There are some differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org. If you aren’t sure about them, please check the following page that explains it well: WordPress.com vs WordPress.org.
Using WordPress.org means you are using the WordPress.org software and hosting your site with a different hosting provider.
On WordPress.com, we offer a few methods of accepting payments. However, they are all either based on PayPal or Stripe. But if you upgrade to WordPress.com Business or higher, you will get access to third-party plugins on your site.
Once you have that access, you can install membership plugins on your site and use other payment gateways (which will also be integrated either with the membership plugin or via the payment gateway’s standalone plugin). If you need help with researching which plugins/payment gateways to use, we recommend posting on the WordPress.org support forum as the WordPress.org community will be more familiar with that: https://wordpress.org/support/forums
Two more things:
1. Your site on WordPress.com must follow the user guideline and our terms of service.
2. We don’t have a plan called “Premium Freelance.” Can you share the link to where you saw that?
