  I need to transfer a wordpress blog hosted by web.com with my own domain name to word press. HOw can I do that?

  Hi there,

  To transfer a self-hosted WordPress site to WordPress.com along with your domain name, you need an upgraded plan.

  Regarding the content migration, you need to export the content from your self-hosted WordPress site and import them to the WordPress.com site.

  Please do take note that the themes, plugins, and customization you setup at your self-hosted WordPress site cannot be transferred over to WordPress.com. If you need to install custom themes and plugins, an upgraded Business Plan is required.
