Hi all,

I need help to import my backup file to wordpress.com. My self-hosted wordpress blog is expired (http://piethstop.com), so I can’t login anymore to retrieve a back up file with xml format. I only have my backup file in sql file and I can’t seem to find a way to import it to my wordpress.com blog.

Can anyone help me? Is there an easy way to convert sql file to xml file because I don’t really understand using PHP method.

Once you have your XML file from your WordPress.org blog, you can come back here for assistance.

Hi airodyssey,

I don’t have an account in wordpress.org because my old blog was expired.
I just want to know if anyone can help me or let me know how to convert SQL file format to XML file so I can import my back up file to my new blog.
