  I can’t seem to assign my already purchased domain name onto my WordPress site. Is this possible? I think I may need a TAG name, according to Wix, who seem to operate my domain name right now. Can anyone help? And sorry if I’m being stupid!!!

  It appears as though you will need to actually transfer your domain name registration from Wix to WordPress.com. See these 3 articles:
