total number of followers is not listed correctly on my blog – all of a sudden

All of a sudden my blog is not showing the right number for followers – saying only 42 now. Earlier today it said 66 followers under the stats page and also on the main blog page in the section that tells people how many others are also following. It makes it look to readers like I suddenly lost over 20 followers, yet if I go into the section on stats, it still shows wordpress followers and email followers separated as 29 and 43 but their two numbers. What is going on????? http://wordglow.wordpress.com
